Contemporary Solo Pianist Dan Kennedy is no stranger to the Athenaeum's Lang Auditorium, having played there many times since 2010. This time he will be presenting his Solo Piano versions of Holiday Favorites, as rendered on his award-winning holiday CD AN ENCHANTED NOEL. He's played in 21 states, Québec, has 7 albums out and 630,000 internet plays. Winner of a 2022 Global Music Award, a 2022 Native American Music Award (with Ancient Voices) and the 2019 Enlightened Piano Radio Album of the Year, his recordings have spent as many as 7 consecutive months on the ZMR Top 100. Dan resides in an 1860 farmhouse in rural Massachusetts. “Music reminds us to make room for joy. Let’s go there — again.”
